The project officially started at the end of April 2023, with a planned total investment of 500 million yuan and three phases of construction. With the strong support of the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government and the High-tech Industrial Park, as well as the overall coordination and careful deployment by Zhongtung High-tech, and the joint efforts of all employees of Chenzhou Tungsten Company and all cooperative construction parties, the project construction has been efficiently promoted. After 8 months of arduous struggle, the first phase of the project was successfully completed by the end of 2023. The first phase of the project concentrated the company's internal advantages in technology and equipment, focused on upgrading the core equipment of key processes in powder preparation, and aimed to build a lighthouse project in the tungsten carbide powder industry, achieving the goal of a "dark factory". After the completion and production of all three phases of the project, it will achieve an annual new production capacity of 10,000 tons, creating an annual economic benefit of more than 3 billion yuan. Li Zhongze stated that the completion and operation of the project is an important part of Zhongtung High-tech's extension of the industrial chain and value chain in Chenzhou, and a new milestone in enhancing the core competitiveness and strengthening core functions of the enterprise.
